100 word response to classmate post Jacob Ray when I look at the motives behind tipicall work, I would say the main motivation is monitary. I would consider my work, right now, my education. Yes, I have a job over the summer to make some money, but during the school year I focus on my studies. I am working to become what I want to do most. I want to be an emergency room nurse, but that connot be done without me putting in work. I am very excited to blend my secular job with my views in Christianity. I want to work as a nurse because it will have a positive impact on people. I believe work should benifit the people around us. God called us to have dominion over the earth. Work is a good thing. I enjoy working because it gives me something to do. I do not enjoy sitting still very long. I like to feel productive. I give my father the credit for the work ethic that I have. He pushed me to work more than I liked as a child, but I have a better understanding and appreciation of work now because of it. While I do not always enjoy studying, I know it will take hard work to reach my goals. God also called us to have a spirit of excelence in everything we do. If I am do my best, I am honoring God.
