Child development ideas are varied among psychologists that include views on biological influences (i.e. inheritable influence), sociological and cultural influences. Culture and social influences may be the most significant may be the most significant influences in a child’s development. Research indicates that pro-social behavior begins in a child’s second year of life (i.e., response to social influences).
