Speed treatment in an office is a concept often used by physician?s who are a part of Physician Provider Organizations (PPO) and Heath Maintenance Organizations (HMO). The reimbursement for each patient is dependent on how many patients they see in a day. They were pushed by these organizations to see as many patients as possible to keep them in business.
