Health indicators are identified as “a measure that helps quantify the achievement of a goal” (Friedman). Therefore, with the idea of good health as a preset, there are various indicators which can be identified. Reports are compiled at every jurisdictional level including state and local levels such as the health departments, foundations, and human service providers. Primary care providers along with various health partners also assist with this collection. The national government as well as private partnerships are also responsible to data collection.
