As a teacher, I definitely see a strong correlation between students who view violent behaviors and the visible increases in their overall aggressive behaviors and even the violent imagery in their drawings.
As a family member, I also notice that my niece and nephew will mimic violent and aggressive behaviors and language that they hear from movies or video games, again evidence to me of this powerful cause/effect.
As you also describe the social learning theory of aggression, it is kind of a “monkey see, monkey do” theory in that it insists how when kids are exposed to a modeled behavior, they mimic what they see and hear.
